"Valeria was absolutely one of the best choices we could have made for our wedding in early Oct 2022! She was so personable and wonderful to interact with; her portfolio is just breathtaking as well. We know you're not really supposed to go with the first vendor for a category without meeting any others but we were so in love with Valeria's work and her personality that all three of us (myself, my now-husband, and my mother) were more than sure of our choice to hire her. Her and her assistant were right on time on our wedding day and were so helpful with guiding us through the day alongside our venue coordinator, and we got multiple compliments from guests who were very impressed with how she was just all over the place capturing so much detail.
Our guests, family, friends, etc are absolutely blown away by all of our photos now that we have them and have nothing but compliments and awestruck comments to share with us!"

"Out of all our vendors, I was most concerned with finding the right photographer. For us, this was the most important. I spent the first several months of our engagement searching and looking at online portfolios when I stumbled serendipitously on Valeria's Facebook page. I was instantly in love with her photos and knew her photojournalistic style was just what I was looking for. She has a way of making her photographs feel like you were right there laughing next to the everyone in the room. After our engagement photos, I knew we had made the right decision. For our photos, Valeria captured the natural beauty of Shupe Homestead and charming moments of celebration that highlighted the joy in our friends and family. We especially appreciated that Valeria guided us to the right locations at the right times amidst all the chaos. Valeria even shot some great pictures of us in the evening after the sun had set.

"We had the most amazing experience working with Valeria. I stumbled across her work on Instagram and just loved her style. She took the time to meet with us personally initially and was so excited about our vision and working together. We booked an engagement shoot with our package and I’m so glad we did! It gave us a great“dry run” of what the wedding would be like which quickly eliminated our nerves. My husband hates having pictures taken and is usually so awkward. But Valeria has all kinds of little tricks to get him comfortable and our pictures are just amazing. "Valeria is the best! I found her while flipping through my wedding venue’s highlights of photographers who had worked there. I was immediately drawn to her photos…the finishes, the moments she captured, the variety. I loved it all! Not knowing how to pose in front of a camera or feeling somewhat uncomfortable doesn’t matter with Valeria. She will make you feel comfortable! For two people who don’t enjoy having our photos taken, we had a great time at both our engagement and wedding sessions. Having Valeria as your photographer is like having a friend come to some of your favorite places and hang out with you while taking your photo. Truly. My husband and I felt free to be in the moment and then had these incredible photos of those moments. She also does a great job of giving direction (where to look and what to do) if needed. I loved that she would ask us questions about each other or encourage us to take in any views or moments because the photos express so much. If you’re anything like me and my husband, chances are you’re going to forget a lot from your wedding day. Getting our photos back from Valeria took us right back to those memories! "I cannot even begin to describe my gratitude for Valeria. The moment I met Valeria and began working with her on my wedding vision, I was blown away at how intently she listened to my wishes in the most down-to-earth manner. She honestly felt like and old friend from the start. Valeria's impressive portfolio absolutely speaks for itself, and her calm demeanor, creative spirit, and friendliness was the icing on the cake. I looked forward to sitting down and chatting with her during all of our pre-wedding meetings. She was always available to chat, brainstorm, and answer questions.
My husband and I requested that Valeria take our engagement pictures during a little hike up South Table Mountain in Golden, CO. There was no hesitation and she shared in our excitement at our surroundings, even while carrying all of her heavy gear up the mountain! Our engagement photos came out absolutely stunning.
Valeria showed up to our wedding day in a wonderfully timely manner and wasted no time getting to work. Having two photographers at the wedding was absolutely perfect. I had mentioned to Valeria before our wedding that we wanted most of our pictures to be more candid and natural, but we also needed those classic posed wedding pictures right after the ceremony. Valeria meticulously went down our list of people and groups of people we needed photographed and made the entire process effortless and simple. Valeria suggested such stunning backdrops for many of the photos of my husband and I and, having our wedding on a working farm, she was completely un-phased to carry her gear through a grassy field or through dirt to snap the perfect picture. The 95 degree weather didn't even slow her down a bit! One of the first things my husband and I gloated about when we got to reflect on our wedding day was how we felt like Valeria was there for each and every moment, large or small, snapping photos of all the excitement we wanted captured memories of. We seriously couldn't have even directed her any better ourselves if we wanted to- she was just so intuitive and self-directed.
Sharing our wedding excitement with Valeria has been the absolute best decision we made for our wedding. Each and every one of Valeria's shots feels so extremely artistic and intimate and we are just so grateful for her work and the attention we received from her. We would hire Valeria again in a heartbeat and look forward to finding all the excuses to hire her again in the near future! Thank you, thank you! We love you!"

"We cannot put into words how happy and grateful we are for having Valeria as our wedding photographer! She was wonderful throughout the entire process. Weddings are a lot of work. They are emotional. I wanted to research to find a photographer my husband I both liked (and oh, I definitely did my research!). After looking debating, conversing, and looking some more, we knew without a doubt she was the one we needed to capture our wedding day. I still can't stop looking through all the photos she took for us. She not only captured all of out favorite moments of the day, but she documented things we didn't get to see!
