Hi, I'm Valeria

(Vah-LAIR-ee-ah) (She, her)

Candid moments of laughter captured in dark, intimate lighting.

I photograph people and weddings with an approach that feels warm, easy, and affirming.

I’m all about moody, color-rich photos and bringing out the visual magic that’s already part of your day.

I care about people feeling seen and celebrated exactly as they are.

I didn’t grow up dreaming of having a wedding. In fact, for a long time, I was pretty against the wedding industry as a whole.

Eventually, I realized it wasn’t the celebration itself that bothered me. It was the assumption that marriage should be everyone’s finish line. I don’t believe your wedding has to be the most important day of your life. Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. Either way, I’ll treat it as the one-of-a-kind celebration it is.

There is no right way to do any of this and certainly no set timeline to follow in life. I want to document what matters to you.

Second or third marriages, LGBTQ+ stories, later-in-life connections, non-monogamous celebrations, chosen family

Love shows up in so many ways that don't follow the “expected” path (or what’s generally reflected in the wedding world). I’m especially drawn to these stories because they carry such history, intention, and depth.

Whatever your story looks like, and whatever body you’re in, I want to celebrate you.
